Who we are

An international consortium, birthed in Kenya.

Tameka Group Consortium was formed in Nairobi to answer a persistent gap: capital exists, mandates exist, but the structures that connect them reliably do not. We build those structures.

Our story

Built at the intersection of capital and delivery

The consortium began as a working group of finance administrators, grant specialists and project engineers who kept meeting on the same stalled programmes. Funding was approved. Contractors were appointed. Yet disbursement, compliance and delivery answered to different masters, and the programme paid the price.

Tameka Group Consortium was constituted to hold all three under one accountable structure. From our Nairobi head office we convene financiers, technical firms, county and national government agencies, development partners and private sponsors into single-purpose vehicles with clear governance, ring-fenced accounts and verifiable milestones.

Today the consortium serves sovereign and sub-sovereign clients, donor-funded programmes, private developers and institutional investors across Eastern Africa and partner markets abroad.

Mission

To structure, govern and deliver programmes that move capital into productive, accountable and sustainable outcomes.

Vision

A continent where public ambition and private capital meet inside structures that both sides can trust.

Values

Collaborate. Innovate. Sustain. Impact. Applied as operating rules, not slogans — auditable at every stage.

Governance

Structured for scrutiny

The consortium is governed by a member council, an independent oversight committee and mandate-specific delivery boards.

Member Council

Admits members, approves mandates and sets consortium-wide policy and risk appetite.

Oversight & Audit Committee

Independent of delivery. Reviews controls, procurement, conflicts of interest and external audit findings.

Investment & Credit Committee

Screens equity, blended finance and guarantee exposures against the consortium mandate.

Programme Delivery Boards

One per mandate. Owns the schedule, budget, results framework and stakeholder reporting.
